Sean Millington

After learning how to play football at Carson Graham Secondary School, Sean continued his football career at SFU to play for the Clan football team. After his time at SFU, he played as a fullback in the CFL for 12 years – 1990 and 1991 with Edmonton, 1991 to 1997 with the BC Lions, 1998 with Winnipeg, 1999 with Edmonton, 2000 to 2002 again with the BC Lions and finished his career in 2005 with the Toronto Argonauts.

With the Lions organization he was known as the “Diesel” and was a two time Grey Cup Champion (1994 and 2000). He was also named the Grey Cup’s Most Valuable Canadian in the 88th Grey Cup game in 2000. In other accomplishments with the Lions he was named a CFL All-Star in 1993, 1994 and 2000, and was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian in 1997 and 2000. Sean was nominated to the 50th anniversary BC Lions Dream Team and inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame and the BC Lions Wall of Fame.
