Pat was born and raised in Vancouver, just down the street from Empire Stadium, where, as a youngster, he watched BC Lions Home games in the “Nalleys Chip Endzone”.
He attended Notre Dame High School and played for the Jugglers before George Oswald recruited him to be the team manager in 1980.
He volunteered with the Jugglers for the next 38 years, helping them win six provincial titles. Pat joined the Notre Dame Building committee and, as Vice Chair, helped steer the full rebuild of the eastside school through to completion in 2021, with the opening of “Juggler Field”.
Larry Reda enlisted Pat in 1983 to work summer football camps, and for the next 43 years, they worked hand in hand on many football projects. Pat helped form the BC High School Football championship (Subway Bowl) committee in 1985 and worked on it for 30 years.
He was a director of the Vancouver Trojans Club and also served as a member of the Football Canada Board of Directors.
Pat worked as executive director with Football BC for 22 years. He was a founding member of the Orange Helmet Awards Dinner and worked multiple Grey Cups, the American Bowl, and many game days for the BC Lions Football Club.
Pat presently works for Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Vancouver’s oldest tourist attraction, and is a multiple Vancouver Tourism Award honoree.
Pat, his wife Leila, and sons Ben and Noah are residents of Burnaby.
