Mark Woodall is the former President and CEO of Special Risk Insurance Managers Ltd (SRIM). SRIM opened it doors in 1994 and became one of the largest specialty insurance markets in Canada.
With a head office in Vancouver, SRIM expanded to 6 offices throughout Canada/sales in excess of $120 million and employed over 130 people nationally.
In 2015, Mark was called upon by the CFL to save the league by finding them insurance coverage for the many aspects for the league. Mark worked closely with the CFL to implement risk management procedures and safety protocols in order to manage risk. We were successful in developing an insurance program that was mutually beneficial to all.
Mark is a proud and long-time member of the Waterboys. Mark has been a ticket holder/regular sponsor and financial supporter of the BC Lions and CFL, for over 25 years. Mark held season tickets in 6 of the 9 CFL teams for over 10 years. As a result of all these tickets, it is not uncommon to see Mark at many BC Lions away games. Mark has a current streak of attendance at the last 14 Grey Cups.
Mark is currently a lead sponsor on BC Lion radio broadcasts. SRIM is extensively involved in community-based projects with the desire to develop its employees into community minded individuals. SRIM was deeply involved with BC Lions and community work.
Mark and his wife, Judy, have two children.
