Lyndon first began his sports writing career with the Vancouver Sun in the early 1970’s. During his time with the Sun, he was the BC Lions/CFL beat reporter from 1979 until 1989. After several years away from the team, Lyndon came back to be the Lions beat writer in 1996 and finished his career by covering the BC Lions and the CFL from 2000 until his retirement in 2010. During this time, Lyndon covered the 1985 Grey Cup Championship team and the Grey Cup playoffs in 1983 and 1988. When he wasn’t busy covering the BC Lions, Lyndon also wrote feature articles and game coverage extensively on SFU and UBC Football, and also covered the BC High School Football Championships.

Aside from football, Lyndon has covered several different sporting events, including the 1976 Olympics in Montreal and the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. He was inducted into the Vancouver Canadians Broadcast and Journalist Hall of Fame in 2008.

Lyndon Little recalls Bob Ackles being a big influence and a mentor in his football writing career, especially in the early years of his football reporting career.
