Frank Naso

Builder | 2026

Frank Naso has occupied senior leadership positions at many levels of football.

His involvement with football began as a player with the Renfrew Trojans beginning in the PeeWee division and ending as a starting offensive lineman on their 1982 national junior championship team.

After playing with the Trojans, Frank became a member of the Trojans Board of Directors and President in 1987.

In 2009, he served as a director for the BC Football Conference as the president, and representing the Junior Conference as a Director to Football BC. Frank became Deputy Commissioner of the Canadian Junior Football League in 2012.

In 2016, Frank was elected as President of Football BC. He led the transition of Football BC to the BC Provincial Football Association (BCPFA).

During his time as President of the BCPFA, he spearheaded the province’s successful effort to be reinstated with the national governing body (Football Canada). The reinstatement provided the province’s amateur football programs the opportunity to conform with all national standards for coaching, safety, and long-term development, as well as the opportunity for the province’s elite football athletes to compete for national championships.

Franks accolades include BCFC Executive of the Year, Life Membership awards to the BC Football Conference and the Canadian Junior Football League, Football BC Builders Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Football BC.
