About the Larry Reda High School Football Scholarship Award

The Larry Reda High School Football Scholarship Award is awarded to the top football student athlete for that particular year. The player/recipient will be the leader of that year’s particular class and, in most cases, be the MVP, the best overall player for that season but, also, not only the best player but a good student leader both on and off the field. All of the head coaches across the province of British Columbia will participate in the selection of the award, with the Provincial All-Star Committee making the final selection. The Larry Reda High School Football Scholarship will be announced in June annually to allow the recipient to receive it during Graduation Ceremonies and it will be further acknowledged at the annual BC Football Hall of Fame Induction ceremony/event.
