Communications Director
Daniel Fung is a seasoned communications and public relations professional and is currently serves as the Communications Officer at MoveUP, the Burnaby-based labour union that represents over 12,000 members in the public and private sector primarily in British Columbia. Prior to joining MoveUP, he worked for School District No. 43 (Coquitlam).
Daniel was heavily involved in the sports scene in Vancouver working with organizations including VANOC, the Vancouver Canucks, and the BC Lions.
Daniel was a longtime communications director working for amateur football in the province working to raise the profile of all levels of the sport in the province. He played a key role working alongside the Orange Helmet Awards committee from 2010 to 2016.
