David Podmore is Chairman and CEO of Concert Properties Ltd. Owned exclusively by Canadian union and management pension funds, Concert is an award-winning diversified real-estate enterprise involved in acquiring and developing industrial and commercial properties, rental and multi-family condominium housing, and seniors living communities in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
David currently serves as Chair of the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), is a Director of Terasen Inc., LifeLabs (formerly MDS Metro Laboratory Services), the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP), Past President of the Urban Development Institute (Pacific Region), and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and member of the Canadian Advisory Board of Impark.
He is the first recipient of the Award of Excellence established by The Real
Estate Institute of BC and in 2005 was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Technology
from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
